Losing my virginity. A personal story

CHAPTER SUMMARY

  • What this lesson is
A first-person record of how the earlier lessons played out at 21–22: gym, sudden attention, volunteered inexperience, gossip, and the woman who finally let him finish the path.
  • The core claim
Building the body opened the door. Telling her it was his first time closed it. The demoralising loop was not “women are cruel” as a theory. It was the fantasy collapsing in real time, then being talked about in the group.
  • What you should take from it
Watch the pattern, not the names. Notice where honesty arrived too early, where condoms and lead were missing, and where guidance from one woman ended the freeze. This is the map with mud on it.
  • What this lesson is not
It is not a scoring of the women. It is not a how-to for that night. It is not proof the gym is magic by itself. It is not a claim every late starter will get a Sophie.

Disclaimer This is a personal story from my early 20s. All names have been changed. It is shared solely to illustrate common patterns and struggles that many men face with inexperience, anxiety, and modern dating dynamics. It is not intended to shame any individuals involved. People grow and change over time, and this reflects only my perspective and experience from that period. Everyone involved was young and immature.

As time went on and the older I got, the fact that I had no experience with women was becoming an increasing anxiety problem for me. I remember thinking that if they knew they would think less of me. And thinking the women probably do know already. It’s a no win situation. As time went on more and more bricks were being added to this wall of anxiety, I had to find a way to break down this wall.

My only solution was to go to the gym, build up my muscles to gain confidence and attention. So I spent about 18 months going to the gym. By this time I was starting to gain some muscle mass and was starting to stand out in the crowd. I could see women looking at me more and more.

Women started basically thrusting themselves on to me. By this time I was 21.

The names in the following have been changed to protect the innocent.

My first encounter was with Jane, Jane was part of a one of the groups of friends I had a that time. We had cuddled a little bit throughout one night at a house gathering of these friends, at some point and I don’t know how but we ended up on a bed together, she had pulled me on to her and had mumbled something to the effect of kiss me, I didn’t hear her well and said “what?”.  She then said never mind. And ended the encounter and moved away. I then heard via another friend of the group she was telling everyone I didn’t know how to kiss. Obviously not in a helpful way, but in a gossipy way. I remember feeling demoralised.

Jane had a sister Mary, Now both Jane and Mary were quite loose with their morels, I knew this, everyone knew this, I believe it was Mary that a ended up kissing somewhere at one of these house parties. Our time together lasted a day or two before she moved on. Only a few kisses had taken place.

My first sexual encounter came from a night where I had ended up on my own after the Melbourne cup at a random pub. I spied the pub and saw an older lady probably in her late 30’s that was looking at me and seemed keen to take me home with her. I had kissed a little bit with Mary so this part I was ok with to a point, I fumbled my way through for the short time with her at the pub before we left to go back to her place. We quickly ended up in bed, at this point I believe I told her this was my first time. Big mistake on my part, from that point all went stale, she told me to finger her pussy while she rubbed her clit to get off. And she did, and that was is. I stayed in her bed until morning and then left. One more step closer. And again I remember feeling demoralised.

Next encounter was from another friend group, but a different friend group than before. I had been kissing this girl throughout the night of a party. We ended up at my place and in bed, I believe I also told her this was my first time, again big mistake. I didn’t have any condoms, and told her I would go and get some, she said no. But she did let me put my dick in her pussy, just stick it in no movement due to no condom. And that was that, never saw her again. Another step closer. And again I found out by another friend she was telling everyone in the group I wasn’t experienced, and not in a caring way. And yet again I remember feeling demoralised.

At this point along comes a girl called Sophie, Sophie was also a friend from a group of friends, roughly the same group as Jane and Mary, and she was the one that allowed me to finally have sex and pretty much guided me through,  we were dating for a couple of months, I worked out later this was her thing, teaching the virgin boys.

After Sophie, all was solved, and I was good to go. I believe I would have been close to 22 by this time.

Looking back years later, I now understand both sides better. The goal of sharing this is to help other men avoid similar painful loops.

Cheers, Jeff
